Colonial District Pre-Spring
Meeting and Seminars
March 2 and 3, 2018
Warm up With Roses

The Colonial District Pre-Spring Meeting and Seminars will be held March 3 & 4 in Staunton, VA at Christ Lutheran Church.  There will not be a formal CR recertification program due to the fact the seminars you have at your local societies may now count toward the process.  There will be a Chemical and Garden safety seminar for those who do need recertification.

We have two special speakers.  Diane Sommers, candidate for ARS VP will be giving a seminar on Saturday and Jon Corkern, ARS Membership and Development Director will be our banquet speaker.  The rest of the seminars will be: Chemical and Garden safety by Debbie Brown, Pruning Roses in The Spring by Ray Shipley,  Rose Trends for Today’s Gardener by Diane Sommers.

Friday night will be a BBQ other activities are still being planned.

Meals will be catered as has been done in the past when we had the meetings at Christ Lutheran Church.  Your caterers are:

Barbara Shaner - if you have attended in the past you know her meals

Kay Shaner - Nutritionist for Augusta County

Jessica Shaner - Manager Ruby Tuesdays

Vickie Stevens - Preschool School Teacher
